Library management software for school libraries
Flocci Library POS lets a school librarian issue, return and renew books with a keystroke, keep a copy-level accession catalogue, enforce per-student borrow limits, and auto-calculate late fines — replacing the paper accession and issue registers most Indian schools still keep by hand.
Built for the class-period rush
A class walks in, thirty students want books, the period lasts forty minutes. The circulation desk is keyboard-first: scan or type an accession number, hit Issue, done — each transaction takes seconds, not a register entry. Due dates are set automatically, and renewals are one key.
The accession register, finally digital
Every physical copy keeps its accession number (e.g. LIB-004521), shelf location and condition grade — New, Good, Fair or Poor — so end-of-year stock verification and lost-book recovery stop being guesswork. The catalogue is searchable by barcode, title, author or genre.
Students, limits and reminders
Student memberships carry borrow limits the desk enforces automatically. Due-soon and overdue lists show exactly which student has which book, and reminder templates go out over SMS, WhatsApp or email — so books come back before the term ends.

Frequently asked questions
Can it replace our paper accession register?
Yes. Every copy is stored with its accession number, shelf location and condition grade, and the catalogue is searchable by barcode, title, author or genre — the digital equivalent of the accession register, plus live availability.
Do we need barcode scanner hardware?
No. The desk accepts typed accession numbers just as fast as scans. If you already own a USB barcode scanner, it works — scanners type the code for you.
Can we limit how many books a student borrows?
Yes — borrow limits are part of the membership plan (e.g. Student), and the circulation desk enforces them automatically at issue time.
How do overdue fines work for students?
Fines start automatically after the due date (default ₹2/day, configurable) and are collected and receipted at the fines desk. Many schools instead use the overdue list purely for reminders — both work.
