Flocci Library POS computes overdue fines automatically: when a book passes its due date, the fine starts accruing (default ₹2/day) with no manual arithmetic. Outstanding fines appear on the member profile and the fines desk, where payment is collected and a cash receipt printed.

No arithmetic, no arguments

The fine is days-late times the daily rate, computed by the system from the recorded due date and return date. Members see the same number the desk sees — disputes end before they start.

A real fines desk

Outstanding fines are worked from a dedicated desk: view what's owed, take payment, print the receipt. The member's account clears instantly.

Policy is yours

The daily rate defaults to ₹2/day and is configurable. Libraries that prefer reminders over fines simply use the overdue lists and never charge.
